This permanent magnet gear reduction motor produces 450 watt at 24 volts and 900 watts at 36 volts. Direct replacement for Currie bicycles with chain drive with gear reduction 450 watt motors, has 7.18 to 1 reduction, 355 rpm and produces 12 ft/lbs of torque (16.3 n/m) at 24 volts. I have personally tested this motor on 36 volts with our 36 volt, 30 amp controller item CT5314 and the motor barely gets warm with a 200 pound rider. I would not recommend running a controller higher than 30 amps at this voltage. Output shaft is 11 mm with keyed 9 tooth bicycle sprocket.
